I’ve had similar problems installing a driver by right clicking on the inf file and selecting “Install” but if I ran the provided setup program everything worked fine.
When the cd finished to boot Launch Terminal I suppose not because when I launch the live cd the module mvsas doesn’t exist.
On Fedora 11 alpha it’s ok the drive is recognized and installing on it is ok yes i think also of a missing driver You can install install Ubuntu on sas controller.
